Who we are

This policy covers this website. Work we do for clients is covered by the agreement with each client.

What we collect and why

• Job applications. If you apply for a role, we receive your name, email, phone number, market, languages, your written answer and your CV. We use them to assess your application and contact you about it. We keep applications for 12 months, then delete them.
• Messages to us. Our contact form stores nothing on this website: it opens WhatsApp with your message written, and you choose whether to send it. If you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we use your message and contact details to reply.
• Website statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.
• Server logs. Our host, Netlify, records technical data such as IP address, browser and the pages requested, to run the site and keep it secure.
• Settings on your device. The site remembers your light or dark theme, whether the assistant's voice is on, and whether you have seen the opening animation. These stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

Legal basis

We process application data to take steps before a possible contract with you. Messages, statistics and server logs rely on our legitimate interest in replying to you and running a secure website.

Athena, the site assistant

Athena is an automated assistant, not a person. It runs in your browser and answers from pre-written content on this site. We do not receive or store your conversation.

If you use voice input, your browser converts speech to text. Some browsers, such as Google Chrome, send the audio to their provider to do this. Spoken answers are generated on your device.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you, including about job applications, by automated means alone.

Who else receives data

• Netlify: hosting, server logs and job applications.
• Resend: the confirmation email sent to applicants.
• Cloudflare: website statistics.
• Google: the fonts used on this site, and voice input in Chrome.
• jsDelivr: delivery of the code library behind our animations.
• WhatsApp (Meta): only when you choose to message us.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use advertising trackers.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, they rely on safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of data you gave us. Email contact@mountolympusai.cloud and we will reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
